Vrushika Mehta, who moved to Canada after getting married, traveled to Mumbai specifically for Navratri celebrations. The actress from Dil Dosti Dance (D3) shared that as a Gujarati, her love for Navratri and garba runs deep in her veins. She expressed that no festivity feels complete without it and that the music energizes her, prompting her to spontaneously break into garba dancing anywhere. She excitedly looks forward to dressing up, meeting friends, and dancing during Navratri.

Although she has always resided in Mumbai, she has heard that for the ultimate Navratri experience, one must visit Gujarat. This is something she dreams of doing and hopes to fulfill it someday. Reflecting on her childhood memories of Navratri, she recalled how her mom would dress her up and bribe her with chocolates to sit still while she painted three dots on her chin. Vrushika Mehta reminisced about her competitive spirit as a child, always aiming to win a prize each night by dancing wholeheartedly and feeling like a little star.

Regarding her preferred Navratri attire, she mentioned her love for flared chaniya cholis, favoring lightweight ones for comfort and graceful spins. She shared that when filming, she opts for heavier jewelry to make a statement, whereas during dance performances, she leans towards delicate pieces that complement her outfit.In her reminiscence of childhood garba competitions, she recalls, "I aimed to win every garba contest in my early years." Reflecting on her festival experiences as a child, she fondly remembers, "My mother would dress me up and bribe me with chocolates to ensure I remained still while she painted three dots on my chin. I was highly competitive and set on winning a prize each night. It was all about dancing energetically and feeling like a shining star."

Describing her preferred Navratri attire, she shares, "I adore flared chaniya cholis, but I opt for lightweight ones to ensure comfort and graceful spins. When it comes to jewelry, for video shoots, I choose bold pieces to make a statement. However, for dancing, I prefer delicate accessories that complement my outfit."

Expressing anticipation for celebrating Navratri together with her husband Saurabh, she says, "I look forward to the day when Saurabh and I can enjoy Navratri festivities together. Saurabh, who enjoys garba in his unique style, is someone I would love to learn from. Although we haven't had the opportunity to celebrate Navratri together yet, we did share a fun garba moment during our wedding events."

Vrushika shares her favorite garba moves, stating, "Spins and the playful popatiyu are definitely top on my list. I also enjoy incorporating dodhiyu and trikoniya moves for variety." When asked about her favorite garba song, she expresses her fondness for "Dakla" for its infectious energy and praises the iconic songs of Falguni Pathak for setting the perfect Navratri mood.

Reflecting on a cherished on-set memory, Vrushika recalls, "During the filming of Dil Dosti Dance, we had a great time shooting 'Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje'; it was a half-day of pure fun! Garba is a staple at our D3 get-togethers."
